There’s a new team on the ground. We are the Lifta (Archaeology) Club — a rogue group of archaeologists, scientists, artists, architects, and writers who have returned to the soil to uncover what was buried, hidden, renamed, or displayed elsewhere. We don’t dig for empire, but for memory.
The Lifta (Archaeology) Club isn’t about rewriting history, we are imagining a liberated future, one artifact, one story, one act of return at a time.
